Time & Attendance Software

Know who's on site the moment they are

GPS-verified clock-in from the employee mobile app, a live view of who has started, and a one-screen approval flow that highlights every late start and early finish to the minute. Engage WorkForce turns attendance from guesswork into a record you can stand behind.

From clock-in to approval

Attendance you can actually trust

Every timestamp is captured at the source, stored UTC-safe, and shown in each user's own time zone — so the record holds up whether your sites are in Perth, Sydney or Auckland.

01

GPS-verified clock-in & out

Staff clock in and out from the employee mobile app, and location is verified at each clock event — confirming they were at the right site, without following them around between shifts. Field crews use the same app for checkpoints and patrols.

02

Live attendance visibility

See who has started, who is running late and who is due next — across every site, on one board. No ring-arounds at 7 am to find out whether the morning crew actually showed up.

03

Planned vs actual, to the minute

At approval time, late starts are flagged in red and early finishes in amber, each with the exact minute difference against the published schedule. The exceptions find you — you don't hunt for them.

Fix in bulk

Clean up clock times in clicks, not hours

Select the rows that need attention and fix them together: replace typed times with the recorded clock times, round to 5, 10 or 15 minutes, remove breaks, then approve the lot. What used to be an afternoon of spreadsheet surgery becomes minutes.

  • Use clock times — overwrite planned times with what actually happened
  • Round 5/10/15 minutes to match your pay rules consistently
  • Bulk approve the clean rows and deal only with the exceptions

Forgot to clock? Approve, reject, record why

Managers can add a direct entry for work or leave when someone forgets to clock — it joins the same review flow as everything else. Every approval and rejection carries who actioned it, when, and the reason, so questions weeks later take seconds to answer. And once approved, hours flow straight into payroll preparation.

  • Direct entries for missed clock-ins, manual work or leave
  • Reject with a reason — the employee and the audit trail both see it
  • Automatic shift reminders nudge staff before start time and cut no-shows

We built attendance around one principle: capture the truth once, at the source, and never make a manager re-type it. If the clock-in is GPS-verified and the approval is audited, payday stops being an argument.

Common questions

Time & attendance, answered

Does Engage WorkForce track employees' location all day?
No. Location is captured and verified at clock-in and clock-out events only — it is not continuous tracking. The GPS check simply confirms the employee was at the right site when their shift started and ended.
What if an employee's clock times are wrong?
Managers fix them on the timesheet review screen before approval. You can adjust start and end times, apply the recorded clock times in bulk, round to 5, 10 or 15 minutes, or remove breaks — and every approval or rejection is recorded with who actioned it, when, and why.
What happens once a timesheet is approved?
One approval does two jobs at once: the hours flow into a pay-ready paysheet for the employee and onto a draft invoice line for the customer. There is no re-keying between attendance, payroll preparation and billing.
What if someone forgets to clock in?
Managers can add a direct entry for work or leave in seconds — pick the employee, site and times, and the entry joins the normal review and approval flow right alongside clocked shifts.
